Config Builder
Build a WinUtil configuration file without opening WinUtil. Select what you want, download the file, then run WinUtil with -Config as described in Automation.
The list is loaded from the latest stable WinUtil release on GitHub. The generated command runs that exact release, so the selected keys remain compatible even if a newer release is published before you run it.
Loading the catalog from the latest WinUtil release…
- Standard, Minimal, and Advanced replace the selected tweaks with that preset, the same as the preset buttons in WinUtil. Your toggles and other selections stay as they are.
- Toggles under Customize Preferences are switched on when the config runs. A config cannot switch a toggle off.
- AppX removal selects packages to remove when the config runs. Default removals selects WinUtil’s default removal list; it does not install or keep those apps.
- Share link copies a link with your selections in it. Opening the link selects the same items, so it’s an easy way to post a setup without passing a file around.
- Open a config loads an exported file so you can change it. Keys that the current release does not have are listed and left out, which is also a quick way to fix an
Unknown selection keyerror. - If your browser saves downloads somewhere other than your
Downloadsfolder, change the path in the command to match.
