Tweak Explorer

See what each tweak changes before you run it. Open a tweak to see the registry values and service startup types it sets next to what Undo restores, along with any script it runs. Search also matches registry paths, service names, and script contents, so you can find every tweak that touches a given setting. Use Add to config on supported checkbox and toggle tweaks, then open them in the Config Builder from the link above the list. For toggles, Add to config (When on) selects the on state only; configs cannot select the off state.

The list is loaded from the latest WinUtil release on GitHub, the same version https://christitus.com/win runs.

Loading the tweaks from the latest WinUtil release…

Registry-backed dropdowns, such as Multiplane Overlay, show a column for each available state. Choose the state in WinUtil to apply it immediately. These controls do not use Undo Selected Tweaks; choose another state to revert them.

Has undo means at least one registry, service, or script undo action is available, not that it restores your exact previous state. A tweak can also show Script has no undo or AppX removal has no undo when only part of its changes can be undone. For example, Undo can reinstall Microsoft Edge, but it cannot recover the browser profile deleted by the removal tweak.

A tweak marked Script has no undo or AppX removal has no undo is one that Undo cannot fully reverse. Some are one-off actions with nothing to put back, such as creating a restore point or cleaning up temporary files. For the rest, create a restore point before applying them.
